Description

This ignitor kit replaces the burner spark electrode and its retainers, restoring dependable ignition. It produces a focused spark at the burner so the gas lights quickly and consistently. What it does:

• Generates the high-voltage spark needed to ignite gas at the burner
• Retaining spring and clip hold the electrode in the correct position for reliable ignition
• Helps address: burner won't light, intermittent or weak spark at a burner, or a cracked/chipped electrode insulator

What's included:

• 1 ignitor (spark electrode), 1 retaining spring, 1 clip

Install notes:

• Disconnect electrical power and shut off gas; allow the appliance to cool before servicing
• Remove burner components to access the electrode; release the clip/spring and withdraw the old ignitor
• Transfer the spark lead to the new electrode; handle the ceramic insulator carefully to avoid damage
• Seat the electrode and secure with the spring and clip; align the tip per service guidelines and test for spark before reassembly
