Vince for Model Number PLCF489CCD Our oven is burning our food and we get an F1 code. Other than that, the oven is running and the clock and timer work. Any suggestions on which part to replace?
Answer Vince, The F1 error code indicates a runaway temperature. You will want to test the oven sensor for resistance. The resistance value should be 1090 ohms at room temperature. If the sensor does not have this resistance then you will need to replace the sensor. If the sensor checks ok then you will need to replace the oven control. Read More...
