Driver45 for Model Number WTW6600SW2 Cabrio washing machine showed LD during dark clothes cycle. Tried to restart, tried to turn off, tried unplugging it and even left it unplugged overnight. Still stuck in the middle of the wash portion of the cycle. Clinking noise and motor running continuously. The control board has been acting temperamental for about a year but was functioning until 2 days ago. What part should I replace to solve this issue?
Answer Driver45, The LD error code represents a long drain. You will want to check the drain pump to make sure that it is not clogged. Also check to make sure that the hoses are clear and make sure that the drain impeller is not damaged. If damaged impeller then replace the drain pump.
