Description

This temperature sensor measures wash-cycle water temperature so the appliance can control heating and cycle performance. Replaces a failed thermistor to restore accurate temperature sensing and consistent wash results. What it does:

• Monitors water temperature during wash and rinse cycles for proper heating control
• Sends temperature readings to the control board so the heater runs only when needed
• Can prevent cycles from completing if the control detects out-of-range temperature readings
• Common symptom: dishwasher stops, displays error codes, or has poor cleaning due to incorrect water temperature
