It was a simple remove and replace; the original manufacturer design is a bitt flawed. Actually, it's more that the plastic part is undersized for it's purpose. Surprisingly undersized for the weight it's intended to carry. The only positive aspect of this entire ordeal is dealing with AppliancePros.com; supper fast in shipping (stunned actually), and the part was significantly cheaper than the original manufacturer - GE.
