Replaced evaporator coil heater/thermostat per APPros guide. Found that heater element was open (infinite) resistance measurement. Ordered a new defrost heater & therm.asy. Had to defrost the evaporator coils with a hair dryer first to remove the old heater & thermostat assembly. The new unit purchased from APPros took less than 30 minutes to install after reviewing the video. Reinstalled back freezer cover panels, and now refrigerator cycles on/off correctly with no frost or ice forming in freezer or evaporator coil.
