This is a long story however you may learn something. Chopper was bad / destroyed. Replaced. Still dirty dishes. Took chopper out all clogged. cleaned and reinstalled. same thing got clogged again. Had to look further. Took dishwasher to work bench. Replaced impeller and Seal Kit in this kit is the coupling that drives the chopper and was broken. Now follow the videos there is a lot of things you don't have to take apart. Now I had to replace this part. Old hose would not stay on ( worn ) no matter how tight I made it just fell off. I used the old hose as an extension for a test but washer would not drain. There is a check valve in that hose be careful.. I cut off the 90 degree end and unit worked great. Most of the time was my fault learning.
Its much easer to take unit out on a work bench rather then in the kitchen.
