I ordered a new dryer push to start switch which solved the problem. The only difficulty was that the part received was slightly different than the part in the installation video. The video instructed me to just secure the part at the base and push it in until it locked into place. The part I received had a totally different connection and I had to actually rotate the part to get it to snap into place. This took a while as I was still trying to follow the video instructions which would not work. I hope that AppliancePartsPros will include the part variation in their installation video for future customers. Overall, I was very happy with my experience.
