The start switch failed the continuity test so we ordered a replacement. It was a simple and quick repair. Just had to remove the back panel at the top, pop out the old, and in with the new.
Had I known how quickly AppliancePartsPros.com would ship, I wouldn't have waited so long to order. The dryer stopped working around Thanksgiving so we put it on the back burner. Part arrived in less than 24 hours and took about 10 minutes to repair. Since we were working on the dryer we took the time to disassemble the vent and clean all lint from the system. We have been using this dryer for decades. Easier to repair when you can.
