We had recently had a repair man out to fix our washer - something had gone over the top of the basket and got caught below in the machine and caused a host of problems. That repair cost $350, so when I started getting the error messages 2 months later I was figuring we just needed to get a new washer.
After watching a YouTube video on how to fix the sensor (which seemed to be the problem after doing some internet research), I figured I would give it a try to fix it myself. I am not a repair man and have never attempted to ffix an appliance before.
Start to finish the repair took about 30 minutes and my washer has been running perfectly since (although we've only done 5 loads since the repair was made).
