Ordered a complete icemaker assembly one day and received it the next day. Removed the screw attaching the assembly to the bracket and carefully slid the old assembly out. The bottom shield was removed from the old assembly and installed on the new one. The new assembly has a redesigned water shield for the inlet to the ice mold that is a bit higher than the original and it took a little more effort to get it in, but with patience it was maneuvered into place. The new assembly is then slid into place and the attach screw reinstalled and the repair is complete.
