Lorenzo Z Rutherfordton , NC March 12, 2014 Appliance: Samsung Refrigerator RB215LABP Samsung Refrigerator Rb215labp: Ice maker was not ejecting cubes. Would make ice but never flip completely over to spill them into the tray. How to replace Refrigerator Ice Maker Assembly. Replaced the entire ice making unit. It was a very simple project. The original ice maker is held in place by two screws at the front and some tabs in the back. Removing the screws allowed the unit to come free from the tabs and drop down. We simply released the wiring clip, removed the broken unit and reversed the process. The repair took about ten minutes and is something I have never done before. I am guessing we saved over $100 by ordering from AppliancePartsPros.com and doing the job ourselves. Now we have an ice maker which is working perfectly and the satisfaction of having done it ourselves. Tools needed: Phillips screw driver. 32 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes
