Tested the motor module with a multimeter. Unit was receiving power, so I knew it wasn’t a wiring issue to the ice maker. There are several webpages that discuss the test ports and how to check the wiring and/or resistance of the ice maker parts. Used a jumper wire to try to manually start the ice maker cycle. No response from the ice maker. Replaced the module and it is now making ice. Very easy swap. Took about 15 minutes.
FYI, depending on your refrigerator model, some are notorious for broken wires near the hinge at the bottom. I had multiple broken wires that I had to splice back together. If you get intermittent ice, your dispenser isn’t working, etc., check the hinge area. Any of the wires to the ice maker or door dispensers can be broken or shorting and giving you ice maker/water issues.
