Ordered a new switch, popped the old one out thanks to AppliancePartsPros video. Put in the new switch but the light still didn't work :( . Decided to remove the socket and check it. Not as easy as the video but with persistence I finally got it out. It checked good so I pried up the center contact tab in the socket with a screwdriver and put it back in.... Light now works :) .
