I had the Temperature error intermittently, but it got to the point where the machine would not finish the wash/rinse cycle.
I replaced the thermistor (even though the resistance at room temp was normal and exactly the same as the new part). The machine worked properly immediately. I presume there was an abnormality in the thermostor at the more extreme ends of its range.
