Watched your superb video, found the location of the Thermistor. Ordered part then a subsequent investigation revealed a broken wire at the connector. Since we needed a quick repair, I cut off both male and female connectors, soldered the wires and used heat shrink tubing to protect the connection. Apparently vibration from the washer tub work hardened wiring and caused a failure.
