The Appliance Parts Pros troubleshooting feature said it was a 90% chance the lid switch was the culprit.I followed the video instructions to change the switch,it's as easy as it looks.
This is the second time A P Pro's have diagnosed and helped fix this machine.A couple of years ago "we" replaced the Agitator Gear Set.Same deal both times,high quality parts and detailed instructions as to how to install.
"We" also fixed our Kitchenaide dishwasher with their troubleshooting,parts,and instructions,along with my screwdriver and computer.
I figure net savings is around $500 total for these three jobs verses paying for service calls and markup on the parts.
