At first I thought the vibration was caused by the shocks being bad. Replaced them and had the same vibration. The bearings seemed ok, so I decided to throw another 100.00 at the machine and replaced the spider. It was still basically in one piece, but was all most corroded thru in many spots. Throughly cleaned all parts and scrapped the locktite out of the threads on the 6 bolts. Reassembled and everything works great. Remove the counter weights to make removing the drum easier. Will never buy a front load washing machine again.
