Description

The Ignitor Kit is an OEM part for Frigidaire electric ranges. It includes an electric spark ignitor and gasket that works with the control board to spark the gas burners to life. The ignitor generates sparks to light the stovetop without using matches. 

Causes of a bad ignitor include weakened or failed filaments inside from repeated sparking over years of use. High temperatures can also degrade insulators prematurely.

Symptoms of an issue with the ignitor include:

• Burners that won't light or stay lit
• Repeated sparking sounds but no ignition 
• "Clicking" from the ignitor area with no flame
• Control board error codes for ignition problems
