AppliancePartsPros.com was able to provide me with the parts I needed for half the price of many other sites. Their simple to follow web pages and numbered diagrams were invaluable when assuring I was getting what I needed for the machine I had. Here's how the repair went: First lifted the top lid panel and lid up off the clips in front, reached in and disconnected the lid switch wiring and set aside Then, with a little help, I tilted the whole machine back to about a 45 degree angle. The right front suspension rod had broken in two and so it fell out at the moment there was a problem, this was the first one I replaced. I slid the new part in from beneath through the mounting bracket on the bottom of the tub and held the tub up slightly and locked the top of the rod in through the new nylon bushing on the top bracket. I then connected the small spring to the side of the tub which completed that assembly. I repeated the procedure for the left front suspension rod and snapped the lid switch wiring back in place and secured the lid panel by snapping it down to the front clips. The machine was then righted and slid back in place, making sure that all of the connections were properly attached and not leaking. The entire project took about 20 minutes and required the help of one friend to help move and steady the machine. After the repair everything worked as designed and the appliance is now washing and drying clothes. NOTE: Although these washer dryer over under combos say large capacity, this one broke while washing a bedspread, as it was nearly impossible to keep this load balanced. I would recommend only washing clothing, towels, and other smaller items. Large items such as bedding and heavy coats should be taken to a laundromat or the cleaners when washing and drying is necessary. Your washer will last longer and its parts will thank you!
