Description

This water inlet valve controls water flow to the refrigerator's dispenser and ice maker so your icemaker fills and the dispenser delivers water when called. It replaces a failed or leaking inlet valve to restore normal water flow. What it does:

• Opens and closes to feed water to the ice maker and dispenser when signaled
• Commonly replaced when ice maker won't fill or dispenser won't deliver water
• Stops water flow when it fails closed; may leak if the valve body or seals fail
• Works with the refrigerator's water line and solenoid controls
