Christopher S Youngstown , NY May 31, 2016 Appliance: Model LA120HVP Fan blade snapped over winter After taking apart the outer casing of the LA120HVP, it was clear that snow/frost/ice had built up on the inside of the box, which caused one of the fan blades to literally snap right off the assembly. Taking the fan assembly off is relatively simple, removing a handful of screws for the outside casing and then a nut that keeps the fan in place. It took a few whacks with a hammer to loosen up the fan from the shaft, but that was it. When I got the new blades, I popped it back onto the shaft, added the nut and screwed the housing back together. Read More...
