Description

This grass catcher bag is a genuine OEM factory-built replacement part. This is the fabric container into which grass discharges as it is ejected from beneath the mowing deck so it can be discarded or composted. If your current bag is torn or does not fit closely against the mower housing, the bag should be replaced. Replacing the bag is a simple proposition. After removing the original bag from the metal frame and discarding it, make certain that the replacement bag is right side out with the plastic side on the bottom. In pulling the bag over the frame, make certain that the fit is snug and that it fits without bowing the frame or being excessively loose. Next, notice there is a channel on the bag. It fits over the hooks on the frame. Once this is completed, simply lift the rear discharge door of the mower and slide the grass catcher into place. This grass catcher fits most Craftsman and MTD walk-behind lawnmowers. This OEM part is sold individually.
