Description

A low-lead saddle type valve that provides a keyed shutoff for a refrigerator or appliance water line. Installs on existing copper or plastic tubing to create a dedicated water supply for icemakers, dispensers, or similar fixtures. What it does:

• Creates a water supply tap by clamping onto an existing water line and providing a shutoff port
• Allows connection of 1 dedicated outlet for icemakers, water dispensers, or inline filters
• Stops water flow when closed to isolate the downstream appliance for service
• Common symptom: no or reduced water to the appliance when the valve is closed or clogged
• Common symptom: visible leak at the clamp or outlet when the valve or tubing is loose or damaged
