Debbie L October 24, 2015 for Model Number SMU2042 UC/14 (FD 7505-7902) We just ordered part#00068952 which is the soap dispenser, but we have no instructions on how to replace it. Not sure how to get the old one out.
1 Answer Debbie, To install the dispenser assembly you will want to open the door of the dishwasher and remove the screw down the sides of the inner door. Once you remove the screws the outer door panel will be able to be removed. You will then have access to the dispenser which will be held in by a couple of screws. Read More...
Jeff February 20, 2015 for Model Number SMU7056 UC/14 (FD 7402-7902) The Refill Rinse Agent light on dishwasher never lights up even when the indicator on dispenser is clear (should be Black when filled) Also noticing rinse agent streaks on interior door from (under dispenser) after cleaning completed.
1 Answer Jeff, There is not a light on the rinse aid that will be black when the dispenser is filled. The window that shows the rinse aid will be what ever color the rinse aid is when filled and clear when not filled. As for the streaking, it sounds like the rinse aid dispenser may be leaking and you would want to replace the dispenser assembly. Read More...
Tim N February 27, 2013 for Model Number /smu 7000 Bosch diswasher We are having problems with the soap dispenser opening and distributing the soap during a normal run. What could be the problem?
1 Answer Tim, You will want to check to make sure that you are getting power to the dispenser assembly when the unit is calling for the door to open. If you are getting power then the dispenser is faulty and would need to be replaced. If not then the timer/control module would be the problem. Read More...
