Questions & Answers

For Bosch Ice Cream Maker (Attachment) (Part Number: OEM13283958)

Charles, not installing a water line service will not stop the appliance from working properly. Once the appliance is installed, it would be recommended that the ice maker is turned off so that the water valve is not damaged. This can be done by lifting the ice maker flap and making sure the ice maker light is not on. If it is, there will be a power button on the front of the ice maker that can be pressed to turn it off.

John, If the icemaker is getting water but not dumping ice then this would be an issue with the icemaker. If there is no water to the icemaker then test the water valve to see if it is getting power when the icemaker calls for water. If there is power then this will be a faulty water valve and if there no power then the icemaker would be the issue.

Keep My Fridge, This issue would most likely be caused by a water valve that may no be closing off fully and has frozen the fill cup on the icemaker then running over.

Rick for Model Number B22CS30SNS

Hi, the water dispenser works, and the 2 motor arms at the back of the freezer turn (if I depress the 'close door' button), but the auger itself seems frozen and won't turn, even by hand, when the ice container is removed from the freezer compartment. Also, the metal blade attached to the auger that appears to push the ice into the grinder/dispenser has snapped off in 2 pieces. Is the auger assembly the correct part to order? If so, what is it's part number? Thanks, Rick

1 Answer

Rick, the part you will want is going to be the entire bin assembly 00673127. This is the only part on the parts diagram that allows to complete this repair as they do not have each individual piece available in the manufacturers parts diagram listing.

Brad, You will want to try to pin point where the noise is coming from. It could be a compressor that is whining, or a new control board.

Michael, Yes the 00673989 / 00675261 Ice Maker Asmb. is the correct part to order for the model number you supplied. The ice maker assembly is a "complete" assembly and in- cludes the motor, wire harness and bail arm, all the parts needed to replace the existing ice maker. Thanks,

Roberto, This issue will most likely be a issue with the icemaker on the unit and not the dispenser control board.

Hello Jason. If you loosen the screws and lift the icemaker off of them you will be able to see the harness. Depressing the tabs on the sides of the harness will allow you to pull the harness out.
