Pat November 04, 2017 for Model Number wfmc6400uc bosch front load washing machine How is the control board removed from the outer panel? It appears to be stuck on top of the push buttons, not the knob. Are there screws?
1 Answer Hello Pat, There are four screws under the removable screw plugs that are accessed by opening the door. This will allow the control panel to be raised and removed. The control will then need to be removed from the bottom side of the panel. Read More...
Joseph F. A March 19, 2017 for Model Number WFXD8400 UC/01 I have a Siemens (Bosch) front load washer, SR#855020082915008456. Model # WFXD8400 UC/01 FD8502 / 900548. The on /off and other control panel option buttons are becoming slow to activate at times. I hear a audible click when pushing the buttons, and sometimes it acts like its thinking about something before it activates, (red light comes on and the mechanical action happens). Pushing harder on the buttons, or rapid button pushing does not seem to affect it. If I keep constant pressure on the button it finally clicks on. I tried unplugging the unit from A/C to try and reboot or whatever and it makes no difference. This machine is 12 years old and has been trouble free. Do they make software or firmware updates for this machine? Do you have any ideas what my problem is? Control Module or panel? I have a parts breakdown (pictures) with part numbers, but no descriptions.
1 Answer Joseph, The part that would most likely cause this issue would be the control module which would be part number 00436437. Read More...
1 Answer Ed, Unfortunately there is not a instruction sheet or video available for this part. In most cases to access this part you would remove the screws from the inner door and possible 2 screws one on either end of the control panel. Once this is done you will be able to gain access to the control module to replace it. Read More...
