Manufacturer Part Number: 131437400

This genuine OEM part is a timer for washers. The timer is the part that allows the washer to start and stop after being in use for a amount of time. The settings of the timer are controlled by the user and will adjust automatically depending on the desired settings. If the washer is no longer stopping after the desired time has elapsed, the timer might need to be replaced. To replace the timer, start by making sure the washer is unplugged. After that, pull the washer away from the wall to access the back panel. Once accessed, remove the screws that attach to the back panel and locate the timer. Once located, remove the mounting screws that hold it in place. Proceed to pull the timer out of the washer, and replace it with the new part. This replacement part is sold individually and is compatible with Frigidaire, Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator, and Westinghouse brand washers.

For Frigidaire Washer Timer (Part Number: OEM6320649)

Matt for Model Number frigidaire stack unit

I have had some trouble with the washer portion of my unit. About a year ago it quit mid cycle and wouldn't fill the tub. I took it apart to find the controls plugged with lint. After cleaning and tinkering, it started working again and I attributed the problem to a bad contact in the control due to lint. Well, the same thing happened again and after a good cleaning, nothing is working to get the unit to fill, spin or make any sound whatsoever. The power to the dryer is functioning fine. My question then lied in whether there is another control, module, solenoid, etc that receives power before the control knob. It's $132 guess! What can I do to make sure this is indeed the problem?

Hi Steve. You will however need to replace the timer part # 131437400. Remove the power. Remove the lower panel under the controls, it is the one right above the washer lid. Remove the Left and Rt. Screws holding the control panel end caps. The panel then should unfold off the inner frame edges. This will give complete access to the timer. remove front timer /panel screws. Unclasp the timer electrical connector. Observe that you plug it back in squarely and firmly. Make sure the connector locking tab is fully reinserted. Reassemble in reverse. Thank You.
