Lj February 13, 2014 for Model Number WPSB9080BOWW Similar question to the other person, START button will not work. I dont have tools to run a diagnostic test have no idea if it is lid switch. Not sure how old this unit is but if I need to replace the board, doesnt seem worth it to have expensive repair. Thanks
1 Answer LJ, Unfortunately we cannot diagnose the unit, but can give you suggestions on what parts could be the issue and how to test them. In order to find out what exactly is going on with the unit you will need to have the proper tools to test the lid switch and to check to see if the control board is getting power and make sure that the start button is not broken. Also if the unit is not filling then check for clogged water valve. Read More...
John August 22, 2011 for Model Number GE Profile Washer WPSB9120BOCC Washer will not start. Power is ok, unpluged power cord and after a few min., pluged the cord back in. LED control panel seems to be ok. All led lights work and start button flashes except when I push the star button nothing happens. Water is on. Had problems trying to start past two weeks, but it did start. Now nothing. Could it be the control asm your # AP3187284 (WH12X10207))or something else? Willing to buy the control panel @ $ 181 plus if needed. Pleae advise.
1 Answer Hi John. Can you access the Lid switch and bypass it? This part # is WH12X10141. If the washer does not have lid closed it will not start. Can you access the Back of the control panel to see if there is a tech. sheet that will allow you to put the machine in a field test? this will pinpoint the area in which a problem likely exist. If the pressure switch is not satisfied(fully Drained) then it will not allow run either. Let us Know if we can assist further. Thank you. Read More...
