Questions & Answers

For Ge Igniter (Part Number: OEM6061779)

Answer, Unfortunately the manufacturer has discontinued the WB13K5058 and they're not available. We thought you may want to try and purchase the burner base, which would include the igniter, but, the majority of the burner assemblies are discontinued as well. Basically, The manufacturer no longer sells the part and we can no longer get it from any of our suppliers. There is no substitute for the part available to us and We don’t know of any other source for the part. But there are still options, contact local parts dealers, one of them might still have it in stock. Enter your part number in a search engine, a smaller company might have it, and try sites like E Bay, Amazon, etc. by using the manufacturers part number [WB13K5058] .Try a used appliance store, sometimes they have the same model or access to the part you need. Thanks,

Hello R.S.Y., If the ignitors are not "clicking" when those that don't work are turned on, the issue will most likely be the start switches for those burners. If you would please re-post with your model number, we can look up the correct part numbers for your unit. If you would rather, you can call us at 1-877-477-7278 with your model number and one of our representatives will be happy to look the parts up for you.

Hello Esther, You will want to do a continuity test on the burner switches. Turn the gas off and access control knobs. With the burner turned on you should have continuity through the leads on the ignition switch. If not then replace ignition switch. If ignition switches check ok then check wiring and if it checks good then you can check the ignitor by doing a continuity test on the ignitor and check for the ignitor being cracked or broken.

Ahab, Check and make sure the burner bases, burner caps, igniters and drip bowls are perfectly clean, no residue, no debris, and no spillage. Make sure the correct cap is on the correct burner base, If the problem persists suspect a weak spark module WB20X133. Thanks

Hello Janice! The ignitor only comes equipped with the large burner WB28X119. Unfortunatley, this item has been discontinued with no replacements available. Sorry about that!
