Compressor BK190CL2C/ASH (Replacement for BK190CL2C/E01) Compressor is not turning on. The compressor fan does not turn on. No errors on the front panel diagnostics mode. What should the OHMs/resistance test be from pin to pin on a good compressor? Mine (original E01) is testing 8.7 between each pin-to-pin option after some jumping around. The self-diagnostics on the backboard flashes on 5 times. The chart on the back sticker only shows up to four flashes. What do five flashes mean? Both boards on the back of the refrigerator have no obvious failures/black spots. The fuse on each board tests good. When plugged in the white relay on the upper left of the clicks and flashes green. Other relays can be heard clicking, but no lights other than the error LED.

The five blinks are a low voltage code. Check input voltage or for a locked compressor. Samsung states to replace the inverter PCB, if the results are then the same replace the compressor. The compressor windings should be approximately 10 ohms.

Matthew, The compressor should only be replaced by a licensed service provider as you have to recover the refrigerant and draw the unit into a vacuum before putting more refrigerant in it.
