For Samsung Pump-Circulation (Part Number: OEM15818592)

Mike for Model Number DW80F600UTS/AA-0000

Recently had a code for water in the pan. Removed pan and found a small amount of water that seemed to coming from around or inside the recirculation pump. My guess is that the shaft seal is bad? When I cleaned it up and ran through a cycle I now notice the pump seems louder, like a grinding or whirring noise that wasn't there before. This is all strange because the dishwasher is only 2-1/2 years old. Before I order a new pump, I'm just curious if a water leak around the seal would cause a pump to become noisy like that.

Mike, Yes, a leaking seal could cause an issue with the unit that would cause the dishwasher to make a louder than normal noise.

Ben, Check to see if there is 120 vac getting to the water valve and if there is then this will most be a faulty water valve on the unit.

Robert, You will want to check the wash motor to make sure that the noise is not coming from it. Check to make sure that there is nothing caught in the pump. If there is nothing in the pump then the pump would be the most likely issue.

Hello Michael. You will want to check and make sure the float is not stuck and the unit is not leaking water. If not, then it sounds like the main control board DD82-01247A has failed and will need to be replaced on the unit.

Sorry Dan. You will need to order the kit for the capacitor for the unit. It is not available separately.

Rob, You would test at the main control board from the CN201 connector Pin number 7 (Blue wire) to CN101 pin 3 yellow wire. There is also connector 201 pin 9 (white) to the CN101 Pin 3 that you would want to check.
