1 Answer Richard, the door switch W11384469 is located on the right refrigerator wall about halfway down and can potentially be stuck in the open contact position. Phelan January 30, 2020 for Model Number WRT518SZFM00 Hello. After a technician diagnosed the issue with my refrigerator not cooling as needing a new control board, I recently purchased and installed a new one (W11371382) on my Whirlpool refrigerator. The fridge and freezer are still not cooling enough and I've been told that perhaps I need to re-program the unit? Does anyone have experience with this or know if the fridge needs to be re-programmed? The model of the refrigerator is: WRT518SZFM00 thanks!
1 Answer Hello Phelan, that the control board does not need to be programmed. If the fan motors and compressor are all running and the ref is not reaching correct temperatures usually this indicates a sealed system problem, and that usually is a freon leak. Read More...
