Hagop May 31, 2016 for Model Number KUDS01IJWH0 HELLO, I HAVE A PROBLEM IN MY MACHINE ......DOES NOT WORK ,IT IS GIVE ME 2 DASHES IN THE DISPLAY...... I TEST LOT OF THINGS ( DOOR SWITCH , ALL THE FUSES , THE THERM ESTER , THE PUMP , THE MOTOR , FLOAT AND THE LIMIT SWITCH ) ON THE END I CHANGED THE MAIN BOARD..... NOW WHEN I PUT IT IN DRAIN POSITION ITS WORK ONLY FOR 1 MIN AND STOP ...... TO START AGAIN I HAVE TO UNPLUG IT AND THEN MAKE THE SAME PROBLEM...... PLEASE I WANT TO KNOW ALSO HOW I CAN TEST THE PRESSURE SWITCH...IS IT NORMAL OPEN AND HOW I CAN TEST IT ALONE ......THANK YOU SOOOOO ...WAITING TO YOUR ANSWER .
1 Answer Hello HAGOP. 2 dashes are a fault code for bad door switches. You will need to replace them in the unit. If they are good, replace the wiring harness on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Paulw February 25, 2014 for Model Number kuds01flwh2 My dishwasher is not draining; I've replaced the drain pump and it seems to be working. Can the soil sensing pressure switch mounted on the discharge of the pump prevent water from draining?
1 Answer Hello Paul. No, it should not prevent the unit from draining. It sounds more like a hose or control issue if the drain pump is not draining the water. Read More...
Ben September 01, 2013 for Model Number gu2400xtps3 I just replaced the Motor/Sump Assembly and I now have a leak that appears to be coming from the soil sensor pressure switch. I would like to replace the o-ring, is it sold seperately from the soil sensor? I cant justify spending $60 for the sensor when I only need the o-ring, especially after already buying the Motor/sump assembly. Thanks.
Bob February 19, 2013 for Model Number Dishwasher-kenmore-mod66516914000 Unit will fill with water. Does not go into cleaning cycle, it stops. Water can be removed from machine with control panel. Pump is working. Thank You.
1 Answer Hello Bob. Test for power to the motor. If it is there, and the motor does not run, replace the motor WPW10757217. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Mark December 31, 2012 for Model Number Kenmore 655.16933000 The pressure switch 8542575 (original part 8268477) is mechanically just connected to the drain hose. When I measure continuity I just get and open circuit. Is this correct ?? If yes, then this is some kind of flow sensor (not a switch) Please explain
1 Answer Mark, That is correct, the (Soil Sensor) Pressure switch 8542575 should have an "open" circuit, under normal operation. " SWITCH CLOSES WHEN SIGNIFICANT SOILS ACCUMULATE IN PUMP".This is how the control board extends the cycle for extremely dirty dishes. Read More...
Lawrence D. November 30, 2012 for Model Number KUDS01DJWH0 Does the O ring come with the pressure switch or is it a seperate part?

Dwight July 19, 2012 for Model Number 66516364300 I have water on lower arm and arm is turning ,no water on upper arm and arm is not moving .Motor fills like it,s running .I think it,s the pressure switch?
1 Answer Dwight, you may want to consider the fill valve WP8531669 and check the accumulator 8193918 for debris or sediment. These are more apt to cause a water or pressure issue causing the upper spray arm to not rotate. Thanks Read More...
Mike December 27, 2011 for Model Number 665.17264400 I just replaced the Motor/Sump Assembly and I now have a leak that appears to be coming from the soil sensor pressure switch. Is it common for the "O" ring inside the switch assembly to fail causing this leak? I cleaned debris from inside the switch and around the "O" ring and checked the drain and water inlet connections.
1 Answer Mike, Like any fluid carrying system, when disturbed a gasket or seal, can and may leak, due to disturbing the "set" in the seal. Replace the "O" ring seal/gasket, and you should be fine. Good Luck and Thanks Read More...
