The carburetor insulator gasket, or intake gasket, sits between the carburetor and the combustion chamber of a gasoline powered engine. This gasket provides a perfect seal that serves two purposes: to keep the fuel/air mix in the carburetor from experiencing too much heat before entering the combustion chamber and to prevent air or fuel from leaking.
