This split lock 3/8 washer can be used in a variety of lawn and garden tools. It functions as a component that prevents nuts and bolts from loosening due to vibration when a tool is in use. It’s a split ring with a helical shape, and when fastened together, it exerts a force on the fastener for resistance to motion and increased friction.
