This O-ring seal is used in all sorts of lawn and garden equipment as a seal for the oil dipstick. It helps seal the system from debris and dirt that could otherwise reach the oil and end up in the motor. Over time, an O-ring will start to shrink, which can result in air and oil leaks and a poorly performing engine.
