This pivot clip allows the dishwasher tines to fold down flat, creating space for loading large plates and cookware in the lower rack. It provides the hinge mechanism that lets you adjust the tine configuration based on your loading needs. To eliminate ordering parts that are working, I went to hardware store to get a multimeter to test and confirmed the continuity of the themal fuse and the door switches are working. Saw another reviewer post a similar problem and I went with the solution by replacing the panel-ctl. Ordered the part, replaced it after receiving the delivery package, turned the breaker back on, ran a test cycle, et voila, it works as new.
