The ignition switch is the part of lawn and garden equipment that features an ignition to turn on and off with a switch. These are common on lawn tractors, as well as some lawn mowers, wood chippers, tillers, and log splitters. While these switches tend to be robust, they may eventually wear out. Some might have a mechanical failure after being used for years. Others might have electrical issues. Regardless of the reason for the failure, they will need to be replaced to continue using the machine. This is a genuine OEM part that is sold individually. It is a complete kit, which will include not only the switch, but also a washer and nut to secure the switch into the housing, and two ignition keys. The ignition switch can work with lawn tractors from brands such as MTD, Ryobi, Troy-Bilt, Bolens, Yard Machines, and Craftsman.

This washer is compatible with most lawn mowers and lawn tractors. The smooth, round edges fit perfectly with 5/8-inch bolts to attach the bolts to parts on the mower, as necessary. The washer provides a buffer between the bolt and the surface that it is being attached to. They are highly recommended for protecting parts that are being fastened together. The lack of a washer can cause permanent damage to the piece that the bolt is attached to. If the bolt does not have a washer to prevent it from moving and rusting, it can cause the bolt to fail. With products such as lawn mowers, this can spell disaster for both the appliance and its handler. These washers are high-quality and will prevent excess corrosion for the bolt. However, moisture and residue left after use can cause the washers to fail. In this case, a replacement will be necessary. This replacement part is compatible with most lawn mowers and tractors. This includes Ace, Ryobi, and MTD. This is an OEM replacement part sourced directly from the manufacturer. Sold individually.

This muffler is a genuine OEM replacement part sourced directly from the manufacturer for use on lawn and garden equipment. It reduces the noise coming from the exhaust. Being a metal part exposed to the elements, it is not uncommon for mufflers to corrode over time and need replacement. As a lawnmower part, the muffler may sustain damage from debris in the yard while mowing. In either case, the muffler should be removed and replaced to keep the noise level to a minimum. The engine and damaged muffler should be cool to the touch before repairing the lawnmower. Wear work gloves and safety goggles. Remove the spark plug from the lawnmower for extra safety. Locate the bolts securing the muffler to the lawnmower and loosen them to remove the muffler. Dispose of the old muffler and align the new muffler with the bolts. Attach the new muffler and tighten the nuts. Put the spark plug back in the lawnmower. This muffler is a high-quality metal part that is individually sold. It does not come with hardware. It is designed for use on lawn mowers and lawn tractors manufactured by MTD, Ryobi, Yard Machines, Bolens, Yard-Man, Troy-Bilt, Poulan, and Husky.
