This replacement magnet is used in select refrigerator assemblies. It provides the magnetic hold or sensor trigger required so doors, flaps, or rails stay closed and so the controls can accurately detect when components are in position.

• Supplies magnetic retention in the specified assembly to keep parts closed and aligned
• Activates magnetic reed sensors in models that use them for door/position detection
• Weak or missing magnets can lead to door-ajar alerts, air leaks, or components not staying shut
• Visible damage or incorrect orientation can cause intermittent operation or improper sealing

• Disconnect power before servicing; turn off water if working near the dispenser
• Use your model's parts diagram to locate the magnet and note its orientation/polarity
• Press-fit into its holder carefully; do not chip or crack the magnet
• Verify proper closure/sensing operation before returning the appliance to service
