This is a quality replacement carburetor that is made for use in leaf blowers by Poulan. The carburetor is the component in the blower that supplies a mixture of air and gasoline to the engine. This is a full carburetor assembly that comes with the metal body carburetor, a plastic lever, and a rubber primer bulb. Gaskets and other components are sold separately. If the engine doesn't start or dies quickly after starting, this is often caused by a failed carburetor.Test the carburetor by taking out the air filter and adding a small amount of fuel to the carburetor. Pull on the starter rope. If the engine starts but then dies quickly, the issue is likely the carburetor. A Torx screwdriver will need to be used to make this repair. To replace the part, remove the airbox cover, base, and filter, Next, take out the old carburetor and install the new one.
