Researched on line Problems with Gas Dryers. Ultimately I was led to a DIY video on the AppliancePartsPros web site. I figured it was the timer I so sent the company the dryer serial number and ordered the part. I discovered needle nose pliers would not substitute for nut drivers so went out and purchased a set. Took a few minutes to realize that the mounting bracket was removable from the original timer. Once I did that it took a short time to complete the job. Thank you AppliancePartsPros! Read more
This dryer heating element kit is made by GE and includes two coils and hardware. Rated 240 volts.
Simply replaced deflector and we are back in business. My gas dryer is OLD, but it still works. As long as I can still find parts for it I will continue to use it.
