This water inlet valve controls water flow to the refrigerator's dispenser and ice maker, restoring normal water delivery for drinking and ice production. It's a direct-replacement valve used in compatible Frigidaire refrigerators. What it does:

• Opens to allow water into the ice maker and dispenser when signaled by the refrigerator
• Stops water flow to prevent leaks when the refill cycle is complete or the unit is off
• Commonly replaced when dispenser or ice maker won't fill, or when water drips continuously
