This replacement part is a bushing, and it is intended for use in different types of appliances. This is a genuine replacement part made by Frigidaire. This bushing is typically found in dishwashers but is compatible with other devices as well. Replaced Active Dry Vent assembly. The switch on the assembly did not work so the seal was in the open position all the time this caused the leak. Used a stardriver to remove the control panel from the door to get to the assembly. Read more
I put in 4 new parts ad gave it a try. had water under dish washer about the size of a half dollar , I dried it up and washed more dishes and pots. No leak that time, and it has been doing fine since. I'd say water was just what was laying on the water lines and shook off. If you see water the first time don't worry wipe it up and use it some more to see if it leaks. GOOD LUCK!!! Read more
Replaced a bad control board after the dishwasher quit heating. The buttons never worked completely but I was able to run the cycles I needed. Decided to fix it all at once and now the 5 year old dishwasher that gets used daily is like new. $200 vs $600+ for a new unit. Read more
Replaced control board and that fixed issue! Also replaced vent assembly due to occasional water leak . Old one showed signs where water leaked past the seal. New one had same design so hopefully will perform better Read more
