Replaced spray arm assembly, it's a different style than what was in the dishwasher but it's an easier style to work with. I also ordered support assembly and did not need it,spray arm assembly was all I needed. Read more
I googled the problem. It was suggested that I take an Allen wrench; vice grips, insert it and turn, should be able to unlock, not. I used a hack saw blade to cut the screws holding it in position (top). Then the washer could be moved out and have access to the top of the door. I unscrewed the nut holding the latch. My GE 18" dishwasher door handle broke in the closed position. I went online for advice how to fix it and found the only way to open the door was to force it open.
