• Directs and contains the burner flame so heat is delivered to the dryer's drum and exhaust system.
• Protects surrounding components from direct flame and high temperatures.
• Helps maintain proper airflow and ignition stability; failure can cause weak or no ignition, rough heating, or unusual burner noise.
• Works with the burner, igniter/pilot, and gas valve to ensure reliable dryer heating.
