This broil element is the replacement heating element for the oven's upper/broil function, restoring direct top-heat for broiling and finishing dishes. Fits common GE ovens that use this OEM-style element. What it does:
Halogen light assembly illuminates your oven cavity during cooking. Replace if light won't turn on, flickers, or glass is cracked. Confirm fit by model.
If your range or oven has a circuit not working or intermittent function, this electrical jumper wire bridges terminals to restore proper continuity.
Fix an unresponsive oven, incorrect temperature readings, or display errors with this wall oven electronic control board. Controls all heating and functions.

You will need a Philips screwdriver, nut driver, and star drivers for this repair. Cordless drill recommended. TURN OFF THE CIRCUIT BREAKER BEFORE STARTING!!!
