This condenser fan motor circulates air across the condenser coils to help the refrigerator release heat and run efficiently. Replacing a worn motor restores proper airflow and can improve cooling performance. What it does:

Spins the condenser fan blade to expel heat from the condenser coils
Helps maintain correct compressor and system temperatures
Runs continuously or with the compressor depending on the model
Common symptoms: refrigerator running hot, poor cooling, loud or grinding noises from the rear, or fan not spinning

Install notes:

Disconnect power to the appliance before servicing to avoid electrical shock
Typical installation requires basic hand tools and access to rear or bottom rear panel
If the fan blade is damaged or obstructed, replace or clear obstructions while motor is removed

Purchased a home built in 2015. The wall cabinets were terraced out from the wall with the center one being out the furthest. Microwave was mounted too far back so that the vent grill was under the cabinet causing discoloration to the door. Additionally, the vent hole in the cabinet was off center so the exhaust fan flap couldn't open.
