The oven vent bottom trim is the decorative and functional panel located at the base of the oven vent opening, directing heat and moisture safely away from the cooktop surface. It protects surrounding components from heat damage while giving the appliance a finished look. Replace this part if it is cracked, discolored, or missing, or if heat seems to be escaping in unexpected directions around the vent area.
