This is the black water dispenser lever for the refrigerator door dispenser. It's the paddle you press with a glass to activate the water dispenser, restoring smooth, reliable dispensing if the original lever is cracked or broken.
The dispenser door was the problem. Replaced the door. I figured I would replace the lever and the ice guide with it. Read more

Ordered a new icemaker from Appliance Pros after viewing the video and determining I could accomplish the task. When the icemaker arrived (promptly) I installed it without difficulty after reviewing the video from Appliance Pros again.
